Glasgow: Scotland with style goes live in Dubai

Dubai 92 live from Glasgow!
A recent example of maximising the potential of new routes through aligning it with Glasgow: Scotland with style has been the campaign with radio station Dubai 92 FM in conjunction with Emirates and VisitScotland.

The promotion began with two weeks of trailers encouraging listeners to register on the campaign website: www.gotoglasgow.com for their chance to win one of five fabulous Glasgow trips for two.

From 19-23 March, Dubai 92’s afternoon show was broadcast live from Glasgow with listeners getting the opportunity to find out more about the city and Scotland. Presenter Ben Whyte chatted on air with a host of prominent Glaswegians - including Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Lesley Sawers - on a wide range of topics such as food, nightlife, shopping, art and architecture, events, business opportunities, golf and the great outdoors.   Over the five days Ben also announced the winners of the website competition who each received a four-day trip to Glasgow for two people.
