Catch the Whisky Bus to Glengoyne
A new bus service running daily from Glasgow city centre will take passengers to Glengoyne distillery, to sample the award-winning malt and see first hand the painstaking process of how it is made.
The Whisky Bus departs from outside the Tourist Information Centre in George Square and can collect passengers at selected city centre hotels including, Hilton Glasgow, Marriott Hotel, Radisson SAS Glasgow, Jury's Inn, Thistle Hotel and the Crowne Plaza.
The Glengoyne experience starts as soon as the 35 minute journey begins, with an on-board screening of a taster film, which tells the story of the distillery and the Glengoyne malt it produces, as well as a nosing competition. On arrival at the distillery visitors will be treated to a wee tasting tour and a dram of Glengoyne 10 year-old and 17 year-old Single Malt Whisky.
The Whisky Bus operates:
Easter to September - Monday to Sunday
October to Easter - Friday to Sunday
