Five-hundred VIP guests will converge on Tramway, Glasgow for tonight’s glamorous celebration of all that’s excellent across the creative industries in Scotland.
Thirteen awards will be presented by a host of celebrities including actress Dawn Steele, music presenter Vic Galloway, news anchor Sarah Heaney, and television presenters Colin Ryan and Justin McAllister.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman. Each winner will receive one of the distinctive multi-coloured perspex trophies designed by Calum Stirling – the Scottish multi-media artist also known as modelcitizen.
In addition, winners of the special award for Outstanding Contribution to Scottish Style (Alistair McCauley and Paul Simmons of Timorous Beasties) will be presented with business class tickets to Dubai, courtesy of Emirates.
The Scottish Style Awards 2005 is supported by the Scottish Executive, Glasgow City Council, and Glasgow: Scotland with style – the branding which has so successfully re-presented the city to a world-wide audience.
